We felt totally safe and enjoyed that it was a 4-5 minute walk to Playa Marsella. Playa Maderas was an 8 - 10 minute motorcycle ride and there were 3 or 4 more restaurants to choose from as well as options for surf board rentals and lessons.

Loved this place! Friendly hosts, great WiFi, great location ~2 mins from the beach, ~2 mins from the bus stop. Hot water in the shower(!!!!!!!!!)

The view is absolutely spectacular. There are plenty of little quiet areas to watch the sunset or just take in the beauty around the property. The pool area is large and well laid out. There are areas for working, eating, talking or just getting some sun. The rooms are very spacious and well appointed. The bathroom, yes, it's salt water, but that just doesnt bother me. The staff and owner are all welcoming and kind. The restaurant food is great. I ate there every day at least once and enjoyed everything I had. The property has a few dogs that are free roaming, all very nice puppies. HUSH is an absolutely excellent place to experience some peace and quiet, enjoy amazing views, and eat great food. You do not have to leave the property if you don't want too. If you do chose to walk the path down to Maderas Beach, just be in relatively decent physical shape, or take shuttle or the main road. The path is definitely not for everyone. HUSH is not however a luxury experience. And I say that only because it seems like some reviewers expected it to be. It's beautiful, it's peaceful, it's clean, it's comfortable, but it is not high end luxury. No one is providing turn down service and putting chocolates on your pillows. Not everything is brand new. Not everything is soft and fluffy. But it is comfortable and clean and the view alone is worth every penny.

Perfect place to stay if you are looking for a cozy hostel with friendly staff and a relaxed vibe. Perfect location in relation to the Spanish school to improve your Spanish, not to mention you have several top surf spots within walking distance! There is a large living room with a bar where you can get drinks. Everyone usually sits here chatting, drinking, watching a movie, playing ping pong or a game of pool. Almost every evening there is something to do in or around the hostel such as Burger night, Taco night and Trivia night. There is a communal kitchen with all amenities and various places where you can relax, such as several hammocks or sofas. The Garden will soon be renovated with, among other things, a volleyball field. There is already a slackline and campfire spot available! And don't forget to cuddle or play with the cutest dog (Lobo) and sweetest cat (Venus)!
