I had the best time with Tony and Daniela, they were very kind, welcoming and warm. They make you feel part of their family and have so many stories to tell. Daniela makes THE BEST breakfasts (I miss them). If I go back to Ometepe I'm definitely staying with them again. The room was nice and clean and at night you can hear a symphony of crickets and other elements of nature due to being away from the city. A really nice experience. Also, there's a beach right outside the hostel where you can see the most beautiful sunsets. It's a bit far from the center of the town (a 20 min walk) which is not too bad, just something to take into consideration. If you're renting a bike like most people do it's not going to make a difference for you, but I was on foot. Fortunately, Tony was very kind and picked me up on a motorbike at the port and took me back at the end of my stay.

Great hostel, beds have personal fans in ensuite showers. There are a few bugs but its like that in ometepe. Its like staying in a forest. Would definitely recommend!

The hostel is clean and staff members did a good job overall. I found the staff to be really helpful and effective problem solvers. The Wednesday party meant I did not have to figure out a way back after and the music cannot be heard in the room. They do excellent food and there are a few decent places nearby for food and drinks.
