Had a great time with crew member of Rest Up . Manager Gopi he is very kind and helpful . We organize EBC Trek with Gopi and found the best price and had a very great time . Everything was perfect as per the commitment . The guide , tea house and food were good . I highly recommend this hostel and gopi for stay in Kathmandu and travel, trek arrangement.

Location is perfect in Thamel, the room was very confortable and clean. The building is very modern and beautiful, I enjoyed it a lot. Hot shower was perfect after a long hike. The size of the room and furniture also perfect. But I specially want to thank the staff because I was very sick when arrived and they kindly took care of me. They all treat me so well!! They helped me a Lot!!! I will always feel grateful with you!!! Thank you so so much!!!

First of all, the staff is always super polite and helpful and it makes your stay already perfect. Dorm was extremely clean (showers as well) and all day two ladies are running for cleaning. But what I really loved was location: you are close to all attractions but also you can feel calm atmosphere in the hostel. Thanks to previous comments owners, I could make perfect choice.

Adorable and helpful staff Very nice outdoor spaces ! We also enjoyed playing air hockey and table football Quiet location but right in Thamel We stayed in a dorm room and private room another time, both were great. As someone who travels frequently to Nepal and has stayed in almost all the hostels around Kathmandu, I can confidently say that Checkpoint KTM exceeded my expectations—especially for the price I paid. The beds were clean and super comfortable, each with privacy curtains, personal lights, and even charging ports, which made a big difference. I really appreciated the attached washroom with a reliable hot shower—something that’s surprisingly hard to find consistently in many hostels. The common area had a great vibe, perfect for meeting other travelers, and the co-working space was a huge bonus. I had to work late nights during my stay, and having a quiet, well-lit space outside the dorms meant I could stay productive without disturbing my roommates.
