My experience at Haka House was excellent. The atmosphere is comfortable and friendly, but what stood out the most was the staff. I’d like to give a special thanks to Diego, who was always kind and helpful throughout my stay. He truly made my time at Haka House much easier and more enjoyable. Highly recommended!

the hostel staff were all extremely friendly and helpful. The location was fab and right in the centre with lots of attractions and things to see nearby. All the facilities were always extremely clean.

The room/unit I had was very clean, comfortable and well maintained. There kitchen was equipped with the expected essentials and quite functional. There location was excellent for me.

I liked being close to the beach and the library. Also, having bus stops nearby was very handy. Staff were friendly and hospitable and the facilities were clean and tidy.

Excellent location in the centre of Christchurch, bus stop just round the corner, 5 minute's walk. Excellent customer service, Manager / Owner very helpful and will go out of his way to ensure you have the perfect stay. Clean bathrooms, plenty of hot water for showers. Clean and tidy kitchens. Clean rooms with a comfortable bed. I loved the back garden and BBQ area the Manager / Owner has developed, a very homely, relaxing and comfortable place to spend the evening and meet up with fellow travelers from around the world. The next time I am in Christchurch I shall be back to stay at this hostel and shall recommend this accommodation to others while holidaying in Christchurch.
