I have to say that the YHA Nelson is one of the best hostels I've ever seen. And it is reasonable priced too. Staff is amazing. I had a single room and it was great.

I like how the bunks are built in so the bunk doesn't shake everytime you or the person above/below moves. It also means you can keep waterbottle on top bunk against the wall and it won't fall off. And good how each bunk has charging ports, a ledge, and it's own light.

All Staff were great. Couldn’t fault them. Had everything we needed. Cafe downstairs was amazing! Awesome coffee!

It is a very beautiful place hidden behind The trees but still in The middle of city. Dave made me feel like I was popping into a old friend's home.

The room was spacious, clean, the bed comfortable. The place was quiet on Friday's night, the manager Trina was welcoming and very helpful. The kitchen and lounge was very clean. I would come back there again.
