Location is perfect. Staffs were super sweet and chill. The room was upgraded to the two beds and only for myself!!! The air was so good with the sound of river. The Mountain View was relaxing. The bathroom was clean and the water was Hot! Very very nice stay. I extended my stay right away after I saw the room and experienced the service.

This was my best expérience on the Salkantay. Fredy the owner gave us a tour or their plantation (where they grow coffee cacao bananas avocado coca and yuka) and showed us the whole process of coffee making and it was great. He tought us a local game as well. My favorite breakfast, plus we were welcome with this amazingly fresh maracuja juice. Generosity and true sense of hospitality. Recommand it a 1000%

Looking for a hostel?

Budget travellers know that there is no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening. Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a bit more.

The bunk beds are comfy with a privacy curtain, a lamp and power point. The dormitory had its own shower and toilet inside the room. The hostel is nicely decorated with a lot of beautiful and colourful murals. The staff at the reception was really nice. Breakfast was simple and not much, but just what you need for an early morning start. There free tea all day. The location is by the river on the small square.

This hostel was just what I needed after walking from Hidroelectrica to Aguas Calientes. The hostel is located right in the city center, nearby everything. I was in a dorm room and the bed was very comfortable. Staff are friendly and helpful. Only suggestion is for them to have a floor towel in the bathroom as the bathroom floor got very wet and icky after anyone showered. Overall a nice and comfortable hostel for a backpacker to rest when going to Machu Picchu!
