We had such a good stay. The place was completely new, really nicely done and very clean. It felt comfortable and was great value for the price. I really felt at home in my short stay in this place in General Luna. Staff are unrivaled in terms of hospitality and friendliness, they will make you feel welcome the very moment you check-in. And I also had the greatest priviledge of meeting the owner, very down to earth and motherly, made me feel so at comfortable and cared for. The location is perfect; easy access to surfing sites, the beach and the party clubs but away from the noise of downtown. They have private rooms and shared dorms; plenty of toilets & shower rooms. Clean, comfy beds and peaceful. I highly recommend this place. 10/10! Will defo stay here again in my next visit to Siargao island, hopefully with Family or friends... Big thanks to the owner and the staff of Mi Casa, you all made me feel loved. ❤️

I had the most amazing time at Kayan hostel. The facilities were great, the location was nice just off the main road but close to all the bars and restaurants. But the best thing about my stay was the staff - they were so welcoming, cooked us food, hung out with us and came on our adventures. I had been solo traveling for 2 months prior and this was by far the most fun I have had in a hostel. Initially I had booked 2 nights but ended up staying for a week because I enjoyed it so much. I will definitely be back!

I am most impressed with how the owner Mr Lee was able to accommodate my needs. Arriving quite sick he did everything he could to make my experience the most comfortable it could be. There was also this tiny kitten there which made me fall in love with the place. It also has a great rooftop and communal area to hang out in. Rooms and facilities were always clean and the location is close to everything but still tucked away which made it peaceful to stay there. Thank you!

Super nice hostel! Beds felt like separate rooms on its own really with a little closet inside to store things, plenty of sockets to charge everything. Facilities super clean, staff is super nice, wifi worked really good for Zoom calls with the camera on, although not always possible to find a silent space for that, restaurant downstairs has really nice food. It’s in a really good spot with plenty of places to go to eat, chill and dance.

Friendly staff, located close to the main road but not on it so more quiet. They do surf board and scooter rentals. Dorm was single beds not bunk plus fan light and charger port. For the price all the facilities etc it was worth it.

Best hostel I’ve. Ever stayed. At. The people and staff are like a massive family and you will definitely end up staying longer than you expected. This place is paradise! Family dinners are such a laugh and Francis is a fantastic cook. Ask for his mango float and you won’t be disappointed!

Best hostel at this price point in my opinion, ideal for backpackers. There is all you need in one place like a cafe, motorbike rental, surf instructors, a weekly family dinner and party, and more. The pool is great and there are a lot of plants in the common area making a great vibe, it's like a mini jungle. I miss staying there and all of the staff who I feel became friends and I met so many nice travelers from around the world as well.

Perfect hostel for meeting people. They have activities everyday, you can book your tours directly with them and they have a restaurant that serves good food (not exactly cheap, but fair prices). Rooms are good and beds were comfortable. Cold showers were better than the hot showers, these last ones didn't have strong water.

It's budget-friendly hostel for backpacker travellers. Staffs are very approachable specially the owner of the place. The location itself is accessible to all you need (food, souvenirs shops, party places etc.) since its around General Luna. Their common shower rooms has also hot showers. They also offer other activities and services where you can spend most time in siargao (Land Tours, Island hopping, motorbike rental). We will definitely go back to this place the next time we'll go again to Siargao
