This is a wonderful hostel with a welcoming atmosphere and the standard of a mid-range hotel, at least in the suites, which is where I stayed. Nice bed, the luxury of clean linens and fluffy towels, everything immaculately clean, lovely breakfast. The owner and his parents and staff are very friendly and welcoming and interesting to talk to. Nice location. Neither the area nor the hostel is suitable for people with reduced mobility due to level differences, stairs etc. This beats the Hilton any time!

The hostel beds had curtains, which was very nice as you have more privacy. It is very clean and the staff members are all very helpful and friendly! The breakfast was included and really nice and fresh :(

This was the only place where I managed to get a good night's sleep during my entire week in Portugal. In addition, the house itself is FANTASTIC, clean, everything is new, the decor and the garden. I met a girl from Canada and we had a wonderful time over breakfast.

The feel of the space was phenomenal. Felt super welcomed. It was clean and the staff, did their best to ensure that i was acquainted with everyone. Rooms where clean, with a large kitchen where everyone has dinner together. Will like to thank Amilcar, Alice, Lexie, Sila for the fantastic stay.

    •Great location (right next to the river, metro stop close by even if after a bit of a climb) •Amazing staff •Comfy beds •Safe space for solo travelers •OK breakfast (small variety but tasty and can order and pay for cooked breakfast items) •Can leave luggage after check out to pick up later •Great view out of the common room

    This place was the best hostel for the same price i paid in other cities. I have been to 5 hostels during this trip in Spain and Portugal. Team is great. Unfortunatelly i didn't ask the name of the gentlemen at the reception but he is very accommodative and valuable Sandeman teammember. All speak English very well which makes communication simple and clear. Very picturesque view from dining room window and atmosphere is relaxing and calming. They have welcome drink, also tea time for free. Breakfast is great!

    This is the best hostel i have been to. And i have done two interrail trips around Europe, probably visiting at least 30+ hostels. The location is wonderful, everybody in the staff is super nice, they have all the things you need at a good backpacker hostel, great breakfast and great dinners at affordable prices.

    I loved everything about this hostel. Top location (right next to Cais de Gaia), super friendly hosts (Dina and Eduarda were helpful and gave me amazing tips on what to visit in Gaia and Porto), the dormitory was warm and very clean, the pressure of the showers was great. The vibe is a thing, you meet super cool people. I truly loved the experience.
