The property was a cozy space that was relatively warm and welcoming, there’s drink and offs stations that you can’t really see in the pictures that were a great help in getting by day to day on a budget! The staff there is the highlight for me, it really felt like a small community where everyone kinda looked out for everyone else, incredibly easy going place and lots of good laughs! The team there really care about what they are doing and help make the place feel that extra bit nicer Namely (Marko, Christine and Imen) They actively have daily events which were fun to be apart of (I was here for Halloween and had a blast) For someone who tries to walk everywhere it was a bit far out for me but it’s very easily a 15-20 min buss ride otherwise to the city and to most nice places so location is decent, especially considering it’s right next to the big djurgarden which offers plenty of beautiful paths for some peaceful walks This place is a solid 9.5/10 for overall experience/ stay in Stockholm Would recommend and would come back in a future trip Sincerely Alessandro :)

I have stayed in hostels around the world for more than 10 years, I can say the City Hostel is one of best because of the location, cleaness, the nice room and the staff. Thanks a lot for the City Hostel staff.

Amazing location and the hostel facilities were awesome. The kitchen was well stocked, with a lot of cooking gear and the showers were very clean. The beds were comfortable and I enjoyed the system of having a pin code for the door, made travelling with a group much easier. We also took advantage of the laundry service, which was flawless, they even still separated the laundry for us according to tumble dry or air dry, very accommodating.

Really nice experience to stay in former prison. The stuff was really polite. They let me checkin two hours early which was nice.

Kitchen, friendly and kind people working at the hostel. The room was clean and had a tiny bit of window that helped a lot as it wasn't completely dark at night. The bathroom is clean and has all that you need. The location is convenient and within a walking distance to the city center, train station and main attractions (e,g., Gamla Stan).
