Spent 5 nights here with my friend as a getaway from Bangkok, the hostess Ya and her family are perhaps the most friendly and gracious hosts I have ever stayed with, it's almost like you are a part of their family when staying here. She cooks dinner every night for all the guests, a range of different authentic Thai dishes and foods. She even made my friend a red curry and omelette for breakfast one morning as he said that was his favourite dish. And she brings fresh doughnuts and fried eggs every morning too, along with the self service breakfast. The hostel is small but comfortable and full of little charms, and the location is peaceful as it is away from the main road, but only 20mins walk from the temples, with bikes and scooters available to rent. I would highly, HIGHLY recommend this place for anyone looking to base themselves in a chill environment for a few days whilst exploring Ayutthaya. 10/10

Clean, cozy, great location, great staff, amazing breakfast. 4-bed dorm with 2 shower rooms separate from 2 toilets, keeping it clean and sense of privacy. Thoughtful decoration with functional touch: 3- light mode mirror, TV with headphones for every bed. Quick response when communicating through bookings. Staffs onside were amazing as well. So welcoming, kind, and helpful. Free breakfast was a huge bonus. Taste good, filling, varieties well balanced (Better than many of the paid ones I experienced) Thank you very much. I will definitely stay here again and recommend this place to everyone.

First thing first, the location is excellent. You can just rent a bicycle for 50 baht from the homestay itself and explore the popular attractions like Wat Mahathat or Wat Chaiwatthanaram easily. Then the host, Blizzy is awesome. We found her very helpful during our stay. The guy sitting at the front office was also very friendly and helpful. Their attention to little things is what I loved the most. You don't even need to contact the host for anything. Every single need of a guest has been taken care of. The small breakfast with coffee and noodles was also a very good addition. Looking forward to stay there again in the future.

The rooms were very clean. There are common areas inside and outside to enjoy. Coffee and water available in the common areas. Excellent wifi. Laundry is available across the street and we were able to dry clothes on the drying racks at the hostel. The location is off the main street on a quieter alley. The Owner is very friendly and helpful.

Last minute one night trip away from Bangkok to explore Ayuttaya to learn about history. The hostel made theis a wonderful experience, very centrally located which made it so easy to stop in for some break times. The hostel is SO cute and feels a bit secluded, felt like a little breath of fresh air outside of the city. Adorable outdoor gardenish area, very quiet and respectful and was still able to make friends. The hostel also arranged a boat trip for 200 THB that included a tuktuk ride to the boat, two hour sunset boat ride and 3 Wat's. Such an amazing time on this trip largely due to the hostel. HIghly highly recommend !!

Clean and comfortable beds, a very beautiful garden, a big and nice common room, friendly and helpful staff, breakfast included, good location, bikes for rent! So many things are great at this hostel! I stayed here for two months because I liked it that much. To the staff of Banchan Hostel: Thank you soo much for your great hospitality!
