The staff at the hostel were very attentive and friendly. The hostel itself is very clean, with access to water and coffee, and a kitchen where you can prepare your own meals. It’s very centrally located, both in the port area and the island’s main area, so you can easily get around on foot, especially convenient if you don’t ride a motorbike. If you want to visit places farther away, you’ll definitely need to take a taxi or rent a motorbike. I visited during a quiet season, so I practically had the shared rooms to myself. This was great for privacy, though not ideal if you’re looking to socialize. For me, it was perfect, as I was there for a busy work week

1.The staff here are truly the heart of the place. From the moment I arrived, I felt more like a friend than a guest. They’re always smiling, quick to share tips on hidden beaches or the best street food stalls, and they went out of their way to help me with transport. It’s the kind of warmth that makes you want to extend your stay. 2. Cleanliness:For a hostel, I was pleasantly surprised by how spotless everything was. The dorms were cleaned daily, the bathrooms always had fresh soap and paper, and even the common kitchen was kept tidy despite being busy. It felt cared for rather than just maintained, which made it so much more comfortable. 3. Location: Perfectly placed to enjoy both relaxation and adventure. You can walk to the night market in minutes, the beach is a short scooter ride away, and there are cozy cafés right around the corner. It strikes that rare balance between being central and still feeling peaceful at night.

I had a wonderful stay at Phatra Hostel in Koh Phangan. There is a lot of good to say about this place, starting with the staff. They are truly great people, some of the nicest and most welcoming people you’ll come across. They are incredibly helpful and always available for a chat, making you feel at home right away. The atmosphere at Phatra Hostel is also worth mentioning. It has a warm, friendly vibe. The room I stayed in was of good size, neat, and well-maintained. It was kept clean throughout my stay and the same goes for the bathroom, which was spotless and fully functional. Location-wise, it’s very convenient, quite central for most activities with easy access to nearby shops and restaurants. Overall, I highly recommend Phatra Hostel to anyone visiting Koh Phangan. It’s an excellent value for money and the hospitality is unmatched. I’ll definitely be returning next time I’m on the island!

Location was perfect for my purpose, as I wanted to stay close to the Thongsala Pier. The ambience is very pleasant, bright, and soothing. Staff is wonderful, helpful, and patient and even the owners are amazing folks, whom I was fortunate to have met. It is newly constructed and fresh. I even got invited to their opening party, which was amazing, as I got to meet most of the partners investing in this hostel. Its definitely worth every dime I paid. Even though its smaller than most hostels, it was one of my best ones in my trip to Thailand, this year. Next time I return to KP, surely checking-in to this place.
