I stayed in three hostels during my trip to Taiwan, Vietnam, and Cambodia. ON MY WAY was the best. It was good deal and also triple the price of the other two. Yes, "You get what you pay for." What did the higher price bring? A wonderfully stocked kitchenif you cook. Plenty of toilets and showers and no lines to use them. Beds with good curtains lights and electric outlets. Large bedrooms so that we could move easily in the rooms. Two different meeting places to discuss things with other travelers. Things all the hostels had in common - fast Internet, friendly staff, and great locations. There was an eclectic mix of nationalities of the guests, including several Japanese college students on break. The hostel is located a good 20 minutes away from many of the sights of downtown Taipei and is in the Beitou neighborhood. If you are heading to Taipei's premier hot spring location, it is perfectly located. Besides the hot spring area about a ten minute walk away, there are local museums, several local night and morning markets, and plenty of shopping within walking distance. Try the morning street markets. Download the metro Taipei transportation app; the hostel is near multiple bus stops that will take you to downtown and the major night markets. Or you could just ride the subway from Beitou Station. I like the buses more than the subways because I like to see the local streets and traffic. I spent four nights and five days here and would gladly stay here again.

I loved everything about this hostel - the staff was excellent, cordial, greeting every time, very very pleased to have picked Just Live Hostel as my stay in Taipei!! My check-in was at 3 am - and they were very kind to come to the hostel and help me with everything! I especially loved the vanity space and security to ensure privacy of bathrooms and dorms! The bed - ohh the bed was so very comfy <3 Thankyou thank you very much! and I will visit again - XieXie!

the place and bed is so good , there is so quiet even someone going up n down. place is clean. they provide the slippers , hairdryers which is warm preparation. if you are juz a cosy traveller, this is a perfect hostel to stay. i will be back if i have chance.

I loved everything. How clean everything was. How there’s cotton pads, Q-tips and floss in the bathroom. How big the showers are and how nice the shower gel is. That there’s a washing machine. How comfortable the beds are and the system for storing your bag. The staff were lovely too!
