The hostel is simple, clean and friendly. The host (Shaun) was so nice. I immediately felt welcome and was introduced to some of the other guests, who I ended up getting dinner with. Any hostel can give you a bed, this one gave me a fantastic experience and some lovely friends. thank you Shaun.

The staff was really nice and got everything ready for my arrival. They arranged my taxi to leave the next day and also recommended me a lot of places. I wish I stayed longer.

The owner didn't speak English, but she kindly showed me everything, making check-in easy. The place is clean, and the bed is extremely comfortable. I enjoyed my two-night stay there. 😇

All facilities were clean and modern, light breakfast included. Free bikes to use. Friendly staff and hostel dog. Staff were very helpful for planning the next leg of my trip. Highly recommended!

Great location in Taitung, right next to the bike lane and within 10 minutes walk from the Railway Art Village. Friendly, helpful staff, really spacious room and a perfect place to stay in Taitung. They have bikes for rent too and there is a bakery round the corner.

Located at one of the rural parts of the taiwanese east rift valley you can find Jamie's Guesthouse. After being greeted be a few lizards on the outside and a curious cat on the inside, you enter the common room with a warm welcome. A mixture of quiet jazz and japanese citypop is playing while you see a big bookshelf and many small interesting items on every surface in the building. The kitchen is filled with various cooking devices and ingredients. Another hangout area is outside behind the kitchen. The sleeping room itself and the bath are clean.

I've been to Dulan numerous times, and this place is by far my favorite. It's not a party atmosphere but rather a cozy hostel. It's small and unrefined, giving it more of a visit-your-grandma's-house feel. The host, Bobo, is a friendly guy. We truly enjoyed our stay here. 謝謝Bobo這兩天的招待，期待下次再見！ - Abby

the hosts were so accommodating and really made it feel like a home. I have so much love for them, and really are great people to spend time with and have good conversations with. I really appreciate the time I spent with them, and are probably one of the main reasons why I would want to come back to Taiwan. 10/10 and would recommend to stay there any day of the week, also a bonus is that it’s so close to the train station so it takes no time to get there!
