Frank was a great host, the outdoor area with the dining table, fire pit and double bed swings were an awesome touch. Felt properly like a hostel but for people who want to have their own bedroom and en suite. The evening meal and breakfast were terrific too

It is a cozy place for lovers of arts and nature. It is a budget hotel tucked in a small garden with beautiful flowers and green areas. Everything from the exterior to the interior and dining section is artistic, with displays of beautiful african arts here & there. The room is clean and in prestine condition. The breakfast & dinner are rich, freshly made, and nutritious. The hotel location seems remote yet accessible. The staff are courteous, helpful, well-mannered, and welcoming. The hotel is neat & well maintained. .

Staff are excellent and very friendly! Highly recommend the ground manager Frank! Who made sure our stay at the lodge was super comfortable, catered to us. Everything looks authentic and African style. Would also recommend the food and the all amenities around the lodge! 100% will go back again and again!

It was my first time visiting East Africa and Tanzania and I was really nervous, but these guys were so friendly that I immediately felt completely relaxed and happy to be there. The accommodation is in a really peaceful area with lots of beautiful birdsong in the morning, and it was nice to be a bit further from the city centre in their little piece of paradise, rather than being overwhelmed by the noise and car fumes of the city

Wow, what a find! Tucked away in a lush banana plantation near Arusha, this eco-hostel stole my heart. My cozy barn cabin felt like a treehouse dream, complete with a porch swing and stunning Mount Meru views. But the real showstopper? The incredibly cheap eats and drinks! I feasted on delicious organic meals straight from the farm without breaking the bank. If you're after an authentic Tanzanian experience that's easy on the wallet, Banana Farm Eco Hostel is a must-visit. Trust me, your taste buds and your budget will thank you!

This property is fantastic for backpackers, budget travellers, woofers and those looking for an environmental stay. The banana and coffee plantation surround the rooms giving wonderful views. Rooms are basic and clean, with eco-generated hot water and electricity. The tour around the property was reasonably interesting. For the price you pay, you can't go wrong.

The staff is realy kind and helpfull. The rooms are fine. You pay a good (cheap) price to stay here and a nice breakfast is included. Dinner is possible, they serve delicious food. We had a lovely stay. I would definetly recommend this hostel, especially for students.
