I stayed at The Common Room for 2 weeks and I could have easily stayed for longer. Everything was so carefully thought out, from the comfy beds (hotel-level sheets and pillows) to the regularly cleaned bathrooms and common spaces. I also joined in on the regular "family dinners" which was a great way to meet and connect with fellow travellers — shout out to Myrah for the amazing restaurant-quality vegan food! The female dorm was spacious enough for all our bags, with individual lockers and even a cute dressing table to get ready at in the morning. The beds were honestly so amazing — clean, comfy, and made by the staff every morning so it's fresh when you get back. My favorite part of the whole stay were the staff members, who were able to create a cozy and chilled environment throughout the entire space. It's social but without the messy party vibes, welcoming without being overly pushy, and felt like a home away from home, especially after coming back from the busy city. The Common Room is a significant step up from any regular hostel I've stayed in and it's a place I would recommend to other travellers who want the best of both a hotel and hostel environment. :)

Unexpected enriching experience. The owner and the people working here are just the best you can get. Helpful, friendly and always ready to help. They manage to create a community, within a safe, comfy space. With a beautiful and genuine attitude everyone is free to stay as long as they need, friends pass by for a meal or even to practice playing the zithar at the reception. The room was clean, it has lockers and air-conditioning. Don't leave without trying the homemade spring rolls! 🤤

The location is excellent. It is near Bui Vien, but the noise from the area can't be heard in our bedroom. Lots of restaurants around. The owner and her family are really kind. They assisted us in booking next-day tours and were able to extend our stay with them with no problem.
