The common area is separated from the rooms by either the kitchen or multiple doors, so you can choose to be social or relax in a quiet room, it's very nice. The common area is also super cozy with lots of tables, outlets, games, books, etc., and it's a social atmosphere where it's easy to chat with other guests or meet people to go on hikes with. Also the kitchen is big, super functional, and it's another place where I met friends from the hostel.
