The whole place was renovated and the rooms were very comfortable and even though you were staying with others you had your own privacy! The place was clean, the toilets and showers were new and always clean. The facilities were just perfect. We couldn't imagine a better place to stay in. It's in the centre of Adelaide and everything is near by.
We would really like to thank DIEGO!!He was the kindest of the staff, he also was really helpful and wanted everything to be perfect for us in order to enjoy our stay. Thank you very much Diego ☺️

great location next to semaphore beach and a short 10-15 min drive from the city. Derrick was VERY helpful on front desk, ensured we kept our double room for as long as we needed it due to car troubles & the hostel seems like it’s been renovated including rooms, kitchen, toilets/showers & security is amazing! never felt unsafe and everyone was very friendly! definitely recommend staying here (also free parking over the road for 24 hours which is great!) will stay again for sure if in Adelaide

I hadn't expected so much from a youth hostel, but this far exceeded all expectations.
Room and facilities were clean, enormous communal kitchen and common rooms, smaller quieter TV rooms and comfy beds. Borrowed hairdryer from reception with no issues, room has TV which was a bonus after a long day walking Adelaide streets. Location really good. Tip: Use the Beam scooters right outside the YHA. So easy to get around.

I liked the common area, there is many sofas and tables. Kitchen looked good as well.
The manager is lovely and caring and so were the guests. Very respectful and quiet, it is a small hostel and felt like a safe environment.
It is probably the cheapest hostel i found on my 1.5 year australia trip
