Beautiful and tranquil grounds with a very nice pool. Lots of places to sit and centrally located. Particularly enjoyed the outdoor showers.

Dreamtime is an award winning hostel with a difference. We offer travellers a safe, peaceful & cosy place to stay. We are not a party hostel. I liked the vibe and atmosphere. It is a relaxed and chill hostel but you still get in contact with other travelers (international and Aussis). Tim, the owner, is cool and he will react on any questions and find good solutions which will fit everyone. The beds are comfortable and they have a big kitchen equipment. You can wash and try your laundry. The common areas inside and outside are big and cozy and the pool is big enough for a group of people. There are plenty of toilets and showers (all separate) so you never stay in line. You can also book tours with them. I enjoyed my stay so much that I came back again and extended my stay.

Surrounded by lush tropical gardens, Travellers Paradise offers accommodation in a historical, heritage listed Guest House in Cairns, 1.2 km from Cairns Convention Centre. Lovely place, the owner is very kind, the hostel is really quiet, the bathrooms are clean and there is a kitchen with everything you need to cook . Very satisfied.

Refurbished in May, 2018, Mad Monkey Village featuresa TV, a kitchen, bathrooms with air-conditioners in every room. There is also an outdoor swimming pool. Free WiFi provided. The pool area has a lot of space to chill and sunbath. The bathroom and kitchen were really clean plus the staff is super lovely.

The location can’t be beat and is within walking distance to anything you’d need. Thomas the manager is great and even put out a great Christmas breakfast for everyone on Christmas morning! 10/10 will be staying again soon.

And they even provide shower gel in bathroom. Kitchen is clean. Hooks in the room for you to hang your coat.

Ideally located in the scenic and quieter area of the Esplanade- away from the noise of the clubs, bars and traffic- but only an easy 10 minute walk to the main attractions, the Pier and Cairns City... The Night Manager was very helpful with the late check-in. I actually booked a wrong room type. However, he did changes to giving me a single room.
