I had a great experience staying at this hostel. It’s the kind of place where you can easily meet people from all over the world, share stories, and hang out in the cozy common areas designed for socializing. The staff is friendly and helpful.

The room was spotless, beautifully decorated, and felt really welcoming. The bed was super comfortable, and the linen was fresh and high quality. I especially liked the little touches – like a welcome note, locally made toiletries, and a great selection of teas and coffee in the room. The staff were genuinely warm and helpful, always happy to offer local tips or a friendly chat. The overall vibe of the place was relaxed and inviting – it felt like a home away from home.

We had room no. 5 with our own bathroom. Top equipped communal kitchen, possibility to do the laundry, very good wifi. Good, quiet location with plenty of parking spaces right next to the accommodation. Very good value for money for Port Lincoln. Highly recommended.

I found the location to be convenient and only a short distance from the things i wanted to see and do.The room was clean with crisp clean sheets and only a short distance to toilets and showers.The bed was comfortable and there was a quite remarkable quietness during the nights after going to bed.As a traveller over many years i enjoyed conversations with the young people i met in Shingos.Jo, the manager, made me feel most welcome on checkin and assisted with a winery trip i had organised during my stay.She offered to help further if needed.
