Best part of our stay was the host, David. He can speak good English and guided us on exploring local sights in guilin, finding vegetarian food and helped us to book li river cruise with hotel pickup and best possible seats. Prices are lesser than online platforms like trip and booking so you can confidently book with him. He can book everything in guilin. David was always available on WhatsApp and wechat or calling to help us if needed. As a foreigner who can't speak Chinese, we couldn't ask for anything more.

Yangshuo Sudder Street Guesthouse features modern accommodation and an outdoor pool. The property offers free WiFi and free access to on-site parking. Best hostel I've stayed in China so far! The views are incredible and the pool is so nice, perfect for relaxing, the rooms are nice, clean, beds are so comfortable and curtains provide good privacy. The hostel vibe is social but not like a party hostel, is more a relaxed vibe but good to meet people, is almost the only one where I met some foreign tourists. The staff is nice and always willing to help you, they arrange for me a shuttle to go to the train station which made everything easier for me. Totally recommended!

I stopped by Eden Inn during my last trip to Yangshuo, found this hotel really cozy, and booked to stay here directly for this trip! Travel in one of the coldest days of the year doesn't necessarily means the trip would be a cold one. There's nearly nobody outside compared to my last visit during summer holidays when people were packed everywhere, and this allowed me to enjoy Yangshuo better. Most importantly, the hotel is warm! Lobby is very comfortable, and looks even more cozy with the sun coming through the window both in the morning and in the afternoon. The hotel is very clean and bed is warm and comfortable, the staff are super attentive (they even prepared some hot pads for us as we left early to watch the sun rise).

It is the best hostel I have stayed at in China. I want to give it more than 10 points if it is possible. It was super clean throughout. The lady working as manager had a native-speaker level of English proficiency as she came to China after living in Boston, US. She was so nice and tried to help me in every way. Its location is perfect as the bus station is only five minute walk away.

Το Fish House Youth Hostel, το οποίο βρίσκεται σε Guilin και σε απόσταση 500μ από Σταθμός Τρένου Guilin, προσφέρει θέα στην πόλη. Very friendly owner and helpful. Close to the train station and clean place.

Το Hi Grey Hostel Xingping έχει κήπο, κοινόχρηστο χώρο lounge, βεράντα και μπαρ, στον προορισμό Yangshuo. Everything was great, the owner is so kind and friendly. He really tried his best to make us feel at home. The bathtub was a highlight of course ❤️Would love to visit again.
