Masaya Casas Viejas biedt een terras en uitzicht op de tuin. Het ligt op 30 minuten van Minca in de regio Magdalena met een 4x4- of motorfiets, en op 12 minuten van Santa Marta. De ligging was prachtig en de kamer die ik had was hartstikke mooi. Super relaxte plek. Tijdens de rit omhoog met de jeep vroeg ik mij af waar ik terecht zou komen, maar het is echt een fantastische plek!

I LOVED this hostel, the beach was great without any waves, not a lot of people, very calm water. The breakfast was delish, the food and drinks sold at the bar were very good, a bit pricey but not too bad. I will stay here everytime I visit Santa Marta. Do keep in mind that it's like 15/20 min drive to the center of Santa Marta, but taxis are cheap.

Awesome location to go diving or to get to tayron park, it's right in the historical centre of Santa Marta. The hotel was exceptionally clean, the staff did everything to accommodate our needs. Awesome breakfast included.

Calma Chicha is gelegen tegenover het strand in Santa Marta, op een paar minuten lopen van Playa Guachaca en 42 km van Quinta de San Pedro Alejandrino. You can't beat the location if you want to sleep on the beach or need to unplug. It's a small fishing/surfing village, with a touristic twist. The waves are quite intense so swimming may or may not be a good idea depending on the waves. We enjoyed watching the fisherman putting the boats in the water in the morning, the whole community comes to help. Don't expect a 5 star hotel with all the amenities, this isn't it. It's a wonderful little spot on a beautiful beach. The internet works. It's accessible by bus and a half a mile walk (or moto ride). It's also a short bus ride to the entrance of Tayrona Park. We absolutely loved sleeping with the sound of the waves.
