We even got invited to the dinner with Juan - the owner of the property, and his wonderful wife and friends. Plus we also got a free excursion in the sorrounding garden where Juan grows mangos, avocados, blackberries and meny other fruits. Absolutely recommend.

This made our trip perfect and I highly recommend the hostel for everyone who goes to La Fortuna. The rooms were clean and we had a nice balkony to sit outside. A special shoutout to ANTONIA, whose kindness and warmth are truly rare to find, she’s always smiling and ready to help with anything 🥰 The hostel is very clean, offers all the best excursions in La Fortuna at great prices, and has a fantastic rooftop that adds to the experience. The location is also perfect, just a 3 minute walk from downtown, yet in a peaceful area. The dorms feel private thanks to the curtains, and the mattresses are actually comfortable, which isn’t always the case in Costa Rica! Most importantly, there is a genuine family-like, welcoming atmosphere, both from the staff and the travelers staying here. I absolutely loved my time at this hostel. The place was in a great location and after receiving a fan in the room the temperature was good too.
