We loved that it was exclusively for girls but we also have access to another hostel’s parties and pool. The place is very cozy with a lot of daily activities and everything is well organized.

The property is located outside the busy and noisy centre of town in an oasis of peace and rest. The views of the sea, and the plants, trees and animals all around are magic! ✨ saw a sloth right opposite the gate of Svastha and Tucana fly around the yoga Shala!

Το Arcari Garden Hostel απέχει μόλις 400μ. από το Εθνικό Πάρκο Tortuguero, λίγα μόλις βήματα από τις ακτές της θάλασσας και προσφέρει δωρεάν Wi-Fi σε όλους τους χώρους. Excellent hostel right in the heart of Tortuguero village and easy too reach from the docks. We had a private room with ensuite and it was comfy and had AC - which was great to recover from the humid heat. Staff is wonderful and friendly. There's a common kitchen if you want to do your own grub, but also plenty cheap food options in the village. No problems paying with card anywhere, even small sums in the supermercado. The big highlight of this place is the tours organised through Aracari - we went on the canoe tour and the turtle tour (absolute MUST, it's incredible to see them) with Israel who is a gem of a guide, and on a night tour with another Aracari guide (sadly I don't remember his name) but he was also super great! I saw a baby sloth through his scope 😍 Also book your boat tickets ahead on tiketico, and once at the docks, look out for the Fersa/Fersa2 boats which are the ones that work with Aracari.

I enjoyed four peacful days in the casa Mamré! It's a great place to relax and slow down, located just next to the beach (You can listen to the waves in your room. 😀 There are good vibes in this location. 🤗 There's as well an inviting area with hamocks outside and the possibility to cook over the fire. The room and nice half-outdoor-kitchen is simple, clean and has everything you need. To the busstation or entrance of the national Park it takes only around ten minutes to walk. Luis gave me a warm welcome and could give me some helpful recommendations for discovering Cahuita and information about the public transports for my further journey.

The Clan Hotel was just lovely. The room was clean and spacious. The common areas (kitchen, swiming pool) was great maintained and the garden in the property so beautiful.

Το El Hostel del Patio είναι σε Tortuguero και προσφέρει παραθαλάσσια καταλύματα, σε απόσταση 300μ από Παραλία Tortuguero. Διαθέτει διάφορες ανέσεις, όπως κήπο, βεράντα και μπαρ. I stayed at this hostel/hotel for 5 days, I was in a dorm and I can say the most comfortable bed ever! It was clean and brand new with big lockers, AC and a big fan with toilets and bathrooms inside each room and a beautiful balcony over the patio where you have many animals coming every day like monkeys and macaws! The people working there are the best 💚 It also has a restaurant and bar with a dock that’s amazing to watch sunset. I honestly could live there it was so green, clean, beautiful and new.

Το Madre Selva Hostel είναι σε Puerto Viejo, σε απόσταση 900μ από το σημείο ενδιαφέροντος Παραλία Playa Cocles και διαθέτει καταλύματα με κήπο, δωρεάν ιδιωτικό χώρο στάθμευσης, κοινόχρηστο χώρο lounge... The hostel is the perfect mix of comfort and outdoor lifestyle setting. Providing clean rooms with comfortable beds, while the outdoor kitchen and hangout areas make you feel one with nature. Super relaxing stay. The staff and owner were very welcoming and accomodating. Location was fantastic, we walked to both Puero Viejo and Punta Uva - we love walking. Otherwise, you could hire a bike, scooter or TukTuk if you prefer.. The beach is only down the road so easy to pop to the beach.
