This DJH Jugendherberge Dresden - Jugendgästehaus is centrally located in Dresden, within easy walking distance of 10 theatres and the Baroque Old Town district. Don't let the word, "Hostel" have you look away! We booked a double room with private shower/toilet and it was great! The location is close to central Dresden (Christmas Markets) and very convenient! - The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. They all spoke English exceptionally well! Breakfast was very good - lots of variety and plenty of it! I would highly recommend this hotel and will plan on visiting again in the future! Parking is a bit scarce, but there is free overnight street parking on the street in front of the hotel - just be sure to pay the automated parking machine by 8:00am the next morning!

LOCATION: - Center: 40 min walking to the center - Park: 3 min walking, good for exercises, picknick, seat and chill, etc - Library: 15 min walking to the Library Neustadt if you need to study. - Food: It's an amazing location, there is everything around 10 min walking and more affordable prices than the center. You find easy places to eat for 5 to 8 €. - Night Life Around: A lot of Bars around, and you can always join the people in the hostel to organize something together. PLACE TO STUDY INSIDE THE HOSTEL Yes, there is a table in the common area and couches, but it's a small space, so if there is a lot of people can be loud and uncomfortable. STAFF Very good team, they are daily organizing things for the guests, amazing! Always check the blackboard in the reception. KITCHEN There is Boxes to store your food, Common fridge and everything you need if you cook. SAFETY Around the area, I felt pretty safe even walking alone during the evening. A few lockers are broken or not good designed, so a person with bad intentions can easy open. Just choose a good locker.

This friendly and comfortable hostel is in the middle of the pub district of Dresden-Neustadt, not far from the historical city centre. Free WiFi is available in public areas. Everything was perfect. Check-in was a breeze. The room was nice, clean, and comfortable. The bathroom was as well. It was a quick tram ride from the city centre and the neighborhood around Hostel Louise (Neustadt) was very cool as well.
