Located directly on the shores of Skanderborg Lake, just 2 km from the town center, Danhostel Skanderborg offers a peaceful lakeside setting with its own small private beach and free Wi-Fi in all public areas. Place marvelous, 10 seconds to lake, swim if you want, otherwise use canoe. Breakfast excelent. Arriving is very easy.

Boasting family rooms, this property also provides guests with a barbecue. The accommodation provides a shared kitchen and free WiFi throughout the property. The youth hostel was excellent. It was well run and exceptionally clean. Ideal location with a 15 minute walk to the centre and less than 10 to the harbour. Room was a great size for the 3 of us. Plenty of space for parking. Staff were great and really helpful. Very good kitchen facilities. Breakfast was very good. Stylish decor. Had washing facilities; board games; basketball court and table tennis table. Space outside for football and we set up our badminton net. Would definitely recommend. All youth hostels should be like this....

Restaurants and shops can be found in the surroundings. The Old Town of Aarhus is just an 8-minute walk from Danhostel Aarhus City. Very comfortable, with clean toilet etc. Breakfast was great. Excellent location. Would stay again.
