The view there is terrific with whole ancient Quito in one eye. The host team are very welcoming. They actively approached us for a dinner (charged with a nice price) before our landing. You know this is so great for new comers to a youth hostel. We do not need to shop around for no idea but great food already served to us with opportunity to talk to other people around. The shared kitchen there offers enough cooking utensils which make our life much easier. The location is also very convenient. Just several steps you can reach vegetables, matches, locks and fruits. You can jump into the crowded town but step back you return to a quiet room to stay.

Το Community Hostel Alausi βρίσκεται σε Alausi και προσφέρει καταλύματα 5 αστέρων με κήπο, κοινόχρηστο χώρο lounge και βεράντα. My only regret about visiting Alausi was not staying longer. I first came to hike the Nariz del Diablo which I highly recommend if you want spectacular views, but would have stayed for the small town, the food, the people and the Community Hostel. Don Marco was nothing but welcoming, making me feel right at home, in this beautiful property he has. The rooms were spacious and the breakfast really good. If you have time you can even sit down and chat with him around a cup of tea and a couple cookies. While there I suggest to go eat at La estacion del tren, you might even run into Don Marco eating lunch there. Everyone that I met took the time to chat with me. It is truly the best experience I’ve had so far in Ecuador!

Comfortable, affordable accommodation conveniently located opposite El Ejido Park and within walking distance of the Historic Centre. The room and ensuite bathroom were spacious, clean and well appointed. The Staff were super friendly and helpful. Eddie, at reception, is worth his weight in gold! His English is very good and he went out of his way to be helpful in any way he could. If we ever return to Quito I would definitely book here again!

The property was excellent. Lovely hostel next to the centro historico. I had an excellent time in Quito, and this hostel made my trip worthwhile. I couldn’t imagine staying anywhere else while in Quito. Great price, comfortable beds, hot showers, and delicious breakfast. Thanks for everything Sandra!!

This is the 3rd time I've stayed here while having eye surgery conveniently nearby. I am rebooking for a friend today. The facilities are well maintained, spotlessly clean, comfortable and the staff most helpful and understanding of our needs. Breakfast is healthful and excellent. Two small items installed in the rooms would add to the comfort of guests, a hot pot and a table lamp. Great value for the price.

The location is convenient. The hostel offers all kinds of helpful services for travelers. The staff, particularly Alexandra, was so nice and helped us get SIM cards. We will be back next time we’re in Quito!
