We went in the free walking tour and Paulo was a great guide. We ate market fruit, learned some history, went chocolate tasting and walked through the beautifully preserved old streets.

There were two fountains that made it a very meditative place to be. I felt like I was on an island of beauty in the midst of the darkness of the shades of Quito. I enjoyed the breakfast, both the portion size and the quality. The room and the bathroom were spacious. For me, I can't imagine a better place for the money.

I arrived at 2am from the airport and they were available to get me to my room. Internet and hot water was fine.

Super nice and helpful staff that went above and beyond with support and recommendations! Amazing breakfast that was a bit different each day, spacious room with a huge bathroom, clean facilities and comfortable beds. We felt totally secure here and would have loved to stay longer. It's definitely not a party hostel but a place to chill and sleep well after a full day of exploring Quito, almost felt like visiting friends. If we're ever back in Quito, we'll be back at Minka hostel!
