This was quite literally the best hostel I have ever stayed at during my travels, and trust me I've stayed at a lot. The beds are spacious and comfortable, larger than a normal twin with a shelf and extra space to the side. The set up makes it feel like you have your own room within the dorm. The lockers are huge with multiple shelves. The rooms themselves are big and many have access to a balcony. The showers are literally incredible. Hot water, wonderful pressure, rain shower heads. I swear these showers rival my showers at home in the states. The restaurant is really tasty and has an incredible view. The community dinners are very sweet and also delicious. The staff was incredibly kind and helpful. They do free luggage storage. I cannot say enough good things about this hostel.

Previously, I stayed at Hostel Secret Garden but decided to move because many people, including non-guests, would enter the restaurant and bar late at night, making a lot of noise with loud music. This made it feel unsafe. Hostel Quito is incredible in especially Edison and doesn't have these issues. It's super safe with security cameras, and the kitchen is spacious and professional, ideal for travelers. The $3 breakfast is one of the best—delicious and clean. The staff is very accommodating, providing shampoo, soap, and towels. The bed was super clean and comfortable, and the bathroom was spacious and spotless, with beautiful wooden floors. The hostel has a lovely garden. If you need to work during your stay, you'll love it here.

Basic rooms but perfectly comfortable! Beds have 4 fleecy blankets on. We had a shared bathroom and you only shared with one other room. Absolutely spotlessly clean! The bathroom was cleaned before we even got up. We had washing done, which was done in just a few hours and smelt great. Breakfast was really good value. Definitely recommend paying a small price for this. The location was good, bars and restaurants close by. Easy to get into the old town. Bus terminal a little but far but very easy to get a bus too. Hotel itself very safe and secure with a gate and locked door which is manned 24/7. Staff very friendly and helpful.
