Watching the sunset from up there is truly magical—peaceful, colorful, and unforgettable. If you’re coming to Aswan and want a warm, welcoming, down-to-earth place with real heart, Bonita Guest House is the perfect choice. I can’t recommend it enough.

It’s a beautiful place, build by a retired mother that worked as a teacher and now wants to leave a bussiness for her two dauthers. You can see the love on the place and wanting to do stuff as good as possible. They have little semiapartments with shared half kitchens (not stove but fridge, a sink, glasses and plates), the room I stayed had a balcony with beautiful views to the nile river, had airconditioning but also a fan, so you can chose. The shower has a heater, and though it has an interesting design just in the middle of the toilet, it works and is very good. The owner incredibly nice, very nice person to talk with. Her dauther is the only one doing Bird watching tours in Aswan (even being featured on the Lonely planet).
