The place exudes charm, coziness, and the rooms are impeccably clean. There's a café with a nice bar for weary travelers and a fantastic, generous dinner menu. This facility has everything you need for the Camino.

Studios have a small kitchen area for private use. Very nice Albergue. Great staff, nice kitchen with coffee machine, microwave and a good size lobby to relax. I am doing the camino with my mother, 82 years old. She loved the place, so we stayed an extra night.

Providing a bar, the property is located within 25 km of Villa Romana La Olmeda. Guests can have a drink at the snack bar. The most wonderful oasis on the Camino. A very friendly welcome. Excellent facilities. A well stocked bar. Our beds were clean and comfortable. We even had USB and USBC plugs for each bed. The bathroom facilities were excellent. The best part was the Italian pilgrim meal. Absolutely brilliant. Oh and there’s a little garden to sit out in and enjoy a cold drink and some quiet time. Thank you for having us.

Just right behind the cathedral. Easy access to many main attractions and happening bar restaurants. But at night the street is quiet and not busy, which I very surprised to that. They even provide towels, shampoo, shower gel and hair dryer!

Great little albergue -clean, comfy, and fun. Owner is awesome and makes a great pizza!!

Located in Villafranca del Bierzo, 21 km from Las Médulas Roman Mines, Albergue de la Piedra features views of the river. Located around 22 km from Lake Carucedo, the hostel is also 26 km away from Ponferrada Castle. This was my first albergue, and it was the best one I stayed at on the Camino. Nathalie and Manuel were amazing hosts and so kind! Make sure to take their dinner which they cook for you themselves. Well worth it.
