This is still a fantastic place for a few nights hiking/get away. Food is absolutely amazing, service / staff well above average. I felt very welcome and everything was well organized. You can cook yourself but it’s honestly not worth it. We found the house meal top notch. They put on music for a nice feel, and everybody (who wanted) was chatting. Check in/out was a 1 min breeze. Enjoy your time there.

The rooms at La Casita are fitted with a seating area. Filipo is a fantastic host. The place is spotlessly clean, and is a wonderful place to meet interesting fellow travellers. Note that there isn't a kitchen you can use but Filipo's food is excellent. You can give him stuff to put in the fridge if you need to. I stayed in a double room and put the heater on for 15 minutes to take the chill off- then slept like a baby! Well done Filipo, I look forward to seeing how La Casita develops!

Staff was lovely and replied very fast. I would 10/10 recommend and come here again.
