Staff went above and beyond. The dorm room is super comfortable. There's a surf school nearby that is great for first time surfers. The hammocks along the beach are super comfortable and make relaxing very easy. I extended my stay because I loved the overall atmosphere that much. Buses to Suva/ Nadi run every hour(ish) so getting to and from the beachhouse is super easy!

Very friendly people, I had some issues with a visa and eventually they let me use their laptop to fix that. There is a super cute cat around, keeping mice and cockroaches away. But she was hungry so it would be super sweet if that staff could take care of her. Only give her some food, maybe you can get her sterilized to not have too many hungry stray cats eventually. Maybe you can set up a cat food donation box or so That would be really great

Just a minutes' walk from Wailoaloa Beach, Bamboo Backpackers features free WiFi and paid 24/7 airport pickup. All rooms include lovely garden views and free linen. The staff are all very helpful and friendly. They booked me a taxi to the airport that was a very low price and invited me to have kava in the evenings with them. Most day trip activities that offer hotel pickup/drop off will come here so it's a very good location. Just a few steps away from the beach and many good restaurants
