I thankfully found YHA Liverpool moments after a failed reservation. I needed someplace to stay that night and was so unbelievably grateful that I came across YHA Liverpool at such a great price for a May weekend. The hostel is very well located to the center and other dynamic, fun neighborhoods while also being close to the docks. Coming back late as a young female adult, I did not have any problems. Well lit roads are easy to find and take back to the hostel. Nothing but good vibes and easy communication with the day and night staff. Happy to help where they can, I was able to receive some great tips for places to eat, things to do, etc. from the staff. The room is a good size and kept up. Showers have good water pressure and bathrooms are clean. The food prep area also exceeded my expectations, is large and was a safe place to store food (there’s a supermarket just 5 minutes away). My luggage remained secured in their storage.

Being a Peruvian visitor and being able to go 10 days to Liverpool without completely knowing their language and going for the first time to England was something completely new, but quickly all my doubts and fears were answered 100% by Tim and all the volunteers of The Liverpool Pod hostel, special mention for the volunteer Andrea who helped me at all times when my cell phone broke down and we were able to repair it in time. It is true that the location is in Everton's blue zone, but I recommend all Liverpool FC fans worldwide to go to the Pod, they will feel at home, so I will come back every time I have to visit the city of Liverpool. Unforgettable experience! YNWA

The Embassie is a 200 years old, vintage mansion and the first hostel in Liverpool. Located in the Georgian Quarter, the property is a 12 minutes walk from the city center.

This was a great location for a few nights stay while in Liverpool. Got a private room in the hostel and was pleasantly surprised. Great comfy bed and lovely hot shower in the morning. I loved the decor of the place and room and bathroom were clean.
You can get tea and snacks for a few euros from the main desk! Also items that you might need. Perhaps 5 mins more or less to the shopping area.
Would definitely recommend!
Also recommend the breakfast place a few mins walk away called hardware.. :)

A good hostel to visit Liverpool.
Starting with how close it is to the stadiums, it has easy access to the bus system, 3 different routes pass, super good!
The accommodation has very nice people, a girl Ela is super formal and a good host, and Tim's morning coffee recharges you

The hostel is in a great location only a short walk the the centre of Liverpool google maps assistance.
The overall cost is very good compared to hotels.
All rooms were very quiet and clean the charge for towel was cheap and would not bother bringing my own in the future

- Super hospitable host and a great storyteller (ask him about the history of the hostel and his experience with the Beatles — you will get great stories to hear)
- Breakfast is simple but it got all I need
- a nicely decorated old house (you can see the good taste of the owner)
