Very cosy and very comfy 24/7 facilities. It is possible to self check in at any hour, and there is basic food to purchase in the kitchen too at any hour - quite handy (tea, coffee, beer, oatmeal, instant noodle etc). The common area is very neat and nice - i spent quite a lot of time there, chilling after a hike, cooking and eating food and even working on my laptop. I stayed in a female only dorm, that has 6 comfy beds, and there were 2 toilets and 2 showers just for our room, so i never had to wait to have a shower etc. There are hair dryers available, and a whole separate drying room both for laundry and wet clothes after a hike. Beds were perfect, pillows were perfect, not creaky as in some dorms. With very good quality bedsheets and towels. Overall, if i am in betws y coed again, i will certainly stay in Gwersyll Cyntaf Eryri.

The hostel provides some rooms that have garden views, and rooms are equipped with a shared bathroom with a shower. Wonderful suroundings and a beautiful building. I liked the vibe of a country hostel with the facilities such as shower- and drying-room. It was very quiet and peaceful during winter and close to hiking trails as well as the train station.

A very very nice stay & I even extended another night. Book direct. A quick bus ride to Betws-y-Coed for more natural parks. I would definitely stay here again.

It also has all the authentic parts preserved in a nice harmony with renovation. Good breakfast, lovely person who was serving it, very helpful and communicative. It's a shame there are no other meals. I do recommend my friends to go stay there!
