At the hostel, every room has a patio with a mountain view. The rooms are equipped with a safety deposit box and certain rooms here will provide you with lake views. At The Butchers Arms - Grill Pub and Accommodation, each room is equipped with a seating area. We arrived at 10 pm on a Friday night, greeted by an amazing Manageress who was so helpful considering they had a busy pub with a 50th celebration going on. We stayed here initially for the proximity to the car park to do Pen Y fan horseshoe, we couldn't have picked better. After a few drinks we met the landlord, Andrew, a fantastic, interesting, local knowledged man. Being a former mountain rescue man he advised us on many things regarding our climb, early start to see the sunrise, which direction to do the horseshoe, amongst other useful tips .He arranged water and snacks for our follow day even though its was by this time midnight. Following evening meal was so reasonably priced for the quality and size of the meal. Drinks were very well priced. All staff were amazing. Room was spotlessly clean, Views were unreal. Overlooking the mountain having Sunday morning full breakfast in the warm sun was an absolute winner. Highly recommend this place. Well Done Andrew and team
