Hostel California ligt in Batoemi, op 5 minuten lopen van Strand van Batoemi, en biedt accommodatie aan het strand en diverse voorzieningen, zoals een gedeelde lounge. The property had everything and was very good value for money but the owners/staff made it more special. They went out of their way to help, saw that we had everything we needed, and even gave us food which they refused to be paid for. They did not treat us like customers but like family. Amazing.

There is ample space for people to hang out, cook and eat, there is a terrace outside for smokers, the rooms are super clean, the place has been recently refurbished, you get proper sheets, and the beds are made for you, there are personal sockets and a night light for each bed, the curtains can be drawn and make your stay rather private, there is aircon and central heating in winter. Not one other hostel in Batumi offers all of the above. And if that wasn't enough, you get free tea, coffee and sugar!!!!!!
