This hostel has incredible shared spaces and the most wonderful location to reach downtown Dublin. There is so much to see in the area, and you can easily walk around to get to everything you want. I only had the chance to stay for one night, but if I had longer, I would've enjoyed lounging around the hostel, because they had karaoke going on, a hammock room, nice outdoor heated space, game room, movie room - everything! They also have locker storage under the bed to lock your bag in overnight. They have a baggage room, too, which came in handy for me, so I could leave my bags there while I walked around for a few hours after I checked out. SUper friendly staff gave me suggestions of where to go during my stay. Great choice to stay here!

We really liked the hostel’s location, as it was a 24-minute walk from the city center, which was perfect for the summer weather. We enjoyed walking around to explore the area. It was also close to public transport. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and the common areas were clean and comfortable. The overall atmosphere was welcoming and lively, and we had the chance to meet other travelers, especially one.

I had a wonderful stay !! The location is great. The room was extremely clean. It was very spacious. I loved that I had a private bathroom inside my room. The staff was very helpful and nice. I also got breakfast there and it was very diverse and yummy and before I came to traveling they send me a lot of useful information on what to do in Dublin and outside. I highly recommend it!

Without flattery, one of the best hostels in Ireland, cleanliness, good reception, great room, I have been to other places in Dublin, but if I knew of a hostel like Jacob's, I would have booked my whole days in it. Thanks to all the workers. You are special

The staff are welcoming and friendly. The location is nice, it’s on a quiet street and the female dorm was quiet. As a female, I would suggest a female only dorm because it feels safer that way because it’s a very big hostel. The showers and bathrooms were really clean and town is only a few minutes walk.

Great location for town, we got upgraded from a private twin room with a shared bathroom to a private 4 bed dorm with an en-suite. The room was clean, beds comfy and the staff were really friendly. The breakfast was good, just toast, cold meat, cheese, fruit, salad and soup but a great addition to the already cheap stay.

I liked that I could stay in a hostel room with just my friends, made me feel more at ease with staying in a hostel for the first time. Also liked that although we arrived before check-in, we were able to store our luggage in the storage room so we could still explore before checking in. Great location for Dublin City centre too, and easy enough to also get public transport to other areas.

Staff were super friendly and approachable and met some really great people here. A very social hostel with daily events like walking tours, pub quizzes, and bar crawls. Curtains and lights at every bed and a full length mirror in the room. Breakfast was simple (cereal, toast, some cold meat, and cheese) but free. Great location to explore from and felt safe walking back at night. Also very easy to get the airport bus to and fro.

Best hostel I have ever stayed in. Really clean and comfortable. The bunk bed set up is brilliant - all feels very private and safe. It was quiet at night, I never had to queue for the showers and the lounge / dining and study rooms are excellent. It’s a short walk into town and right by a bus stop. Lots of nice places to eat and drink just minutes away.
