Only a quick stay before a flight but the receptionist was absolutely lovely. I didn’t catch his name but after a long days travels I was completely exhausted and his friendly personality definitely made my day so much better. We chatted about ancestry while he was doing the check in process and afterwards while I was eating in the common area he sat at reception playing guitar. Very great atmosphere and great facilities. Brilliant location. Wish I stayed here the last time I visited Dublin.

I had a phenomenal stay at Latroupe Jacobs Inn! The staff was incredibly friendly, the rooms were clean and each of us had our own locker, which was surprisingly spacious and easy to use. The bed was comfortable and came with its own shelf, hanger, USB charging port and two lighting modes, which I really appreciated. The only slight inconvenience was the seagulls outside being quite loud, especially when I was trying to fall asleep, but nothing a pair of earplugs couldn't fix! The room overall was tidy, thoughtfully designed, and beautifully decorated. All in all, I highly recommend staying here and would definitely come back if I ever find myself in Dublin again.

Without flattery, one of the best hostels in Ireland, cleanliness, good reception, great room, I have been to other places in Dublin, but if I knew of a hostel like Jacob's, I would have booked my whole days in it. Thanks to all the workers. You are special

The staff are welcoming and friendly. The location is nice, it’s on a quiet street and the female dorm was quiet. As a female, I would suggest a female only dorm because it feels safer that way because it’s a very big hostel. The showers and bathrooms were really clean and town is only a few minutes walk.

Great location for town, we got upgraded from a private twin room with a shared bathroom to a private 4 bed dorm with an en-suite. The room was clean, beds comfy and the staff were really friendly. The breakfast was good, just toast, cold meat, cheese, fruit, salad and soup but a great addition to the already cheap stay.

First visit to hostel and was pleasantly surprised. As friends, both near 50 years old - We were surprised at the mixture of people that were staying. Property was extremely clean and tidy, Staff were helpful And this particular property is in a great location near the centre of Dublin

I liked that I could stay in a hostel room with just my friends, made me feel more at ease with staying in a hostel for the first time. Also liked that although we arrived before check-in, we were able to store our luggage in the storage room so we could still explore before checking in. Great location for Dublin City centre too, and easy enough to also get public transport to other areas.

Staff were super friendly and approachable and met some really great people here. A very social hostel with daily events like walking tours, pub quizzes, and bar crawls. Curtains and lights at every bed and a full length mirror in the room. Breakfast was simple (cereal, toast, some cold meat, and cheese) but free. Great location to explore from and felt safe walking back at night. Also very easy to get the airport bus to and fro.

Best hostel I have ever stayed in. Really clean and comfortable. The bunk bed set up is brilliant - all feels very private and safe. It was quiet at night, I never had to queue for the showers and the lounge / dining and study rooms are excellent. It’s a short walk into town and right by a bus stop. Lots of nice places to eat and drink just minutes away.
