Featuring an outdoor pool and air conditioning, HI - Massada Hostel lies at the foot of the Massada plateau on the eastern edge of the Judaean Desert. The rooms were very clean, and had everything we needed, very friendly and accommodating staff, and most importantly (for us) - it was very quiet, even though there was a school trip, and dozens of teenagers everywhere.

Set in the entrance of Ein Gedi's National Park, HI - Ein Gedi Hostel offers modern rooms and dormitories. It is located 1 km north of Ein Gedi Kibbutz. WiFi is free throughout. Breakfast was terrific, we paid a little extra at the hotel for dinner and it was really great!

We ordered a triple room, but as a couple, the receptionist offered to pick a double room which had a twin bed which was more comfortable than the bank beds in the other room. The room has an amazing view and a porch outside the room with a view to the dead sea. The room was close to the cafeteria and included half board (breakfast, lunch). The room was renovated and completely new, including a private bathroom, towels, hand soap, shower soap and linen. The room had a mini refrigerator. Beds were comfortable. Elctricity sockets near bed. The field school is close to all nature reserves of the dead sea like David and Arugot stream. The staff was very nice and kind. And during the day you can get to see lots of Ibex !
