First of all i want to say thank you so much to the host ' Pintu Bhaiya' who has made this small hostel like home & the same was reflected during my stay. Before planning a trip to Varkala i did a lot of research and was skeptical travelling alone to new location, but he helped me with everything from cafe recommendations to scooty bookings making my stay memorable. Don't miss sunset walks :) I know i will be back at my this home soon.

Me and my partner booked a private stay and loved our time. The place is very beautiful with an amazing view of the valley. It's also in close proximity ( approx 2 km walking) of the Kodai town, making it an ideal place if you love to Walk and enjoy the quiet (we ended up doing a lot of walking, as we like it!!) The hosts are amazing, they are very approachable and cool people to hang around with. The food is yummy as well:) Highly recommended if you are looking for even a private stay with a bit of socializing (you can choose not to as well ☺️). I was also working the whole time I was there, they have a very good and stable Internet connection, making it a good option for digital nomads.

The Truth About HostelExp in Auroville… (From Someone Who Stayed Over a Week) I booked HostelExp for just one night but ended up staying over a week. It’s one of those places that’s easy to settle into—comfortable, quiet, and thoughtfully run 🌿🛖. The yoga shala was a real highlight 🌳🧘‍♂️. It’s clean, peaceful, and felt like a great place to start each day. The whole property is well-maintained, and you can tell there’s real care behind the scenes. Everything from the rooms to the common spaces had a calm, intentional vibe 🍃. What I appreciated most was the balance between community and personal space 🍂🪷. There were always friendly people around, but it never felt busy or overwhelming. I could join in or take time for myself, and both felt equally supported. Nitish was really helpful before I even arrived, sending clear directions and making the whole process simple 🛤️. Once I got there, he made sure I felt welcome. Lucky, who helps take care of the space, was kind and friendly too 🌼🙂. For what’s offered, the price is very fair 🍀. If you’re heading to Auroville and looking for a quiet, conscious place to stay, HostelExp is a great choice. I’d definitely come back 🌺✨.

Unpack Hostel bevindt zich in Puducherry, op 2,1 km van Sri Aurobindo Ashram en 2,1 km van Manakula Vinayagar Temple, en biedt accommodatie met een gedeelde lounge, gratis WiFi in de hele accommodatie... This hostel was a great find! Ronak and Kavya have created this safe, chill and cool space where you can see how much care they have put into it and how much they love hosting. Just like you, they are travellers and know what guests look for. They definitely made our stay in Pondy a lot better. We came to this hostel because we wanted to meet people and enjoy Pondicherry, and that is exactly what we got. Everyone was so friendly and respectful, and the vibes were on point. We made our temporary gang to explore Pondy during the day and every night we would come back to chill at the rooftop, have some drinks and play boardgames with Ronak and Kavya until late. Rooms and common areas were spotlessly clean. Super comfy beds with a fan, power point and fan plus locked storage per person. They also have a kitchen providing great food and drinks, and you can comfortably rent a scooter from them for the standard rate. We wish all the best to Ronak and Kavya in their adventures and will definitely stay with them next time!

The moment I arrived, I was welcomed with warmth and kindness that made me feel instantly at ease. The space was always clean, calm, and full of positive vibes — perfect for relaxing or meeting like-minded travelers. Every corner felt thoughtfully cared for. I couldn’t have asked for a better place to unwind. I’d return without a second thought.

Really clean, comfy, and great vibes! Perfect location, just a few minutes from the beach. Karthik and Vikash (and Bubu and Hero) are excellent hosts!

Dutch Square Hostel ligt in Alleppey, op minder dan 1 km van Alleppey Beach, en biedt accommodatie met een tuin, gratis privéparkeren, een gedeelde lounge en een terras. Wij hadden de enige 2 persoons kamer, deze was erg mooi en groot. Prima locatie, regelen alles wat je wil, hele fijne gast heer. Fijne tuin om te verblijven.
