Το Efra Sel Hostel βρίσκεται σε Fludir, σε απόσταση 25 χλμ από το σημείο ενδιαφέροντος Geysir και παρέχει καταλύματα με κήπο, δωρεάν ιδιωτικό χώρο στάθμευσης, κοινόχρηστο χώρο lounge και βεράντα. We stayed in the guest house and absolutely loved it! The location is very convenient — almost in the center, and only about 1–1.5 hours’ drive to Reykjavik, waterfalls, geysers, and the beach. The place was clean, warm, and very comfortable. It had everything we needed — a hairdryer, straightener, a bean-to-cup coffee machine, a Ninja multi-grill, and a dishwasher. The living room has a stunning panoramic view — the perfect spot to enjoy your morning coffee with the sunshine ☀️ The Wi-Fi is super fast, too. It was also really thoughtful that the hosts provided shower gels, shampoo, conditioner, makeup remover wipes, and even some feminine products — such a nice touch! There’s also a hot tub with warm water, which was a great bonus after a day of exploring.

The hosts are very friendly and attentive. They give you a quick tour and explain all the necessities as you arrive. Hotel is very neat, clean and organized. Looks like an old barn made into something so cozy! The view and the nature is amazing! Domestic animals are the point of attraction for people who are into animals, kids would definitely love it.

Located within the famous Golden Circle sightseeing trail, Héradsskólinn Historic Guesthouse overlooks Lake Laugarvatn, Hekla Volcano and the Eyjafjallajökull Glacier. Το κτιριο ειαι παραμυθενιο, ηταν παλιο σχολειο και εχουν κρατησει πολλα πραγματα (διακοσμητικα) που δινουν μια πολυ ωραια ατμοσφαιρα!! Η τοποθεσια καταπληκτικη, εισαι κοντα σε πολλα ωραια αξιοθεατα, απολυτη ησυχια και πολυ ωραια θεα στη λιμνη κ στο βουνο. Αν εισαι τυχερος θα δεις και το Βορειο Σελας τη νυχτα!! Καθαρα τα μπανια κ το δωματιο, ευγενικο προσωπικο. Επισης το εστιατοριο του ξενοδοχειου εχει παρα πολυ καλο φαγητο και σε λογικες τιμες για Ισλανδια. Περασαμε υπεροχα!

Situated by Route 1 in central Selfoss, this accommodation offers free parking, free WiFi access and brightly decorated guest rooms. The Selfoss Geothermal Swimming Pool is 350 metres away. Perfect place to rest if you are traveling in the area without having to go sell a kidney ehhehe. Staff is nice and helpful. Thank you Alda for the help with my mistake booking the wrong dates and letting me sleep for 1 more hour :) Spacious room with a double bed. Nice views to the neighbourhood. Sink in the room. Very confortable bed! Was sharing 2 full bathrooms with 4 or 5 rooms, everything was nice and clean. Doors can be a little bit noisy but after everyone went to bed is complete silence. Highly recomend Selfoss Hostel, i will come back for sure. Very good value for money!
