The property was in the centre of town. It was secure behind a code locked door. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The property was very clean. There were free hot drinks available. It was very quiet. There were lots of things to do: games, books, television in the pod. Fantastic value for money.

Best stay we had in the whole of Iceland! Really spacious room, pantry/kitchen was great and well-equipped, and it was all clean! Highly recommend :-)

The Croatians working down on the reception/bar. They are very nice and helpful.

A standalone farm very close to Hvitserkur. The owner was very nice and talkative, even though we arrived 10-15 minutes late. Comfortable rooms, cosy common area. Also a chance to see the Icelandic horses from a close distance nearby. A really quiet, remote and pleasant place close to nature.

We met these 2 coolest girls that work there during summer and they totally changed the experience! The horses around, beautiful nature and peace & quiet was just want we needed!

When you step in it is like back 50years, with decor, actual beds, bed setups, kitchen, you name it, even the keys. Although not a retro fan, this is not retro. I stayed here as I needed a place to sleep before catching the ferry to Grimsey Island. I got a room upgrade I think, lol. Was contacted hours before expected arrival, just to clear arrival procedures. I would recommend to other travellers, it’s clean, good water pressure, Ease of access, no pets, and no issues.
