It’s clean, great facilities (kitchen, parking etc), have good beddings. The place also near the coast which means good for aurora hunting!

Friendly, functional and very clean hostel. I stayed in a dormitory with six beds and everything went perfectly with the other guests. Very good kitchen, with all available. They also had coffee, tea, chocolate and cookies for guests. It was a very nice experience.

Hotel has a great location, you can walk to Svinafellsjokull from it. The little bar is gorgeous with incredible views. Breakfast was extensive and varied. Staff were welcoming and the lobby area is lovely. The petrol station across the road has a cheap extensive menu

The staff. The bar/restaurant staff really bring something special to the place. Also the beer was cheaper than the average in Iceland hostels.
