This is one of my favorite hostels (and I have stayed in many around the world)! I extended my stay a few times because I was so comfortable and content. The location is so central - a short walk to the train station, a short walk to many sights and restaurants and safe to walk around at night. The building itself is historical and really well set up for a hostel. My room was spacious with high ceilings, lots of light, and beautiful views. My bed was very comfortable and the room/bathroom and the rest of the facilities were cleaned every day so the place was always spotless. There's a kitchen for cooking, and lots of tables for socializing or working on your laptop. The wifi was perfect for getting work done. I also loved starting my days drinking tea on the terrace every morning. The vibe was very relaxed and friendly and I met other chill solo travelers. Finally, the hostel is run by a really great group of people who are super welcoming, helpful and kind. Thanks Elio, Enis, Cho, Donaldo and Mateo!

I'd definitely come back next time I am in Firenze. Fantastic value for money.

Hostel Archi Rossi is in Florence’s historic centre just 250 metres from Santa Maria Novella Train Station. It is within easy walking distance of all the main tourist sites, including the Uffizi Gallery and Florence Cathedral. There's a cafeteria where we can bring our own food and eat there no matter what time. Beverages were provided for free. Near the train station. Restaurant and fast food within walking distance. The place is quite clean, outside of the hotel surroundings looks decent and quite safe to walk.
