Very kind and helpful receptionist.
Great spot for pilgrims on the Via Francigena. You have all the basics you need: some drinks, a place to dry your clothes, a terrace to relax, etc. Excellent.

Friendly staff, with a great atmosphere and really chilled out study area/common area on the top floor. Organised music on a weekend, too. Near plenty of cafes and amenities
Capannori is a very beautiful area, not too far from Lucca.
Ostello La Salana is very affordable, the property of the hostel is large and the building well facilitated for a hostel,
but it is not properly sustained by the owners of the hostel.
When I was to check out I asked if it would be okay for me to eat breakfast at the hostel, even though I was late for the check out, in which the owner was kind to say yes.
