Only a 2-minute walk from JR Takayama Station, K's House Takayama Oasis offers free WiFi throughout the property. We stayed for two nights at K's House Takayama Oasis and really enjoyed our time there! The rooms were clean and the shared bathroom well equipped, the common room really comfortable and we loved to spend the evening on one of their couches with a cup of tea from the shared kitchen. But what is really exceptional at K's House Takayama Oasis is the staff: I forgot my Kindle ebook reader and they send it to my next stay at Tokyo and even communicated with the staff there. I am so thankful for your help and for the time I spend in your house in Takayama!

Το Backpackers Hida Takayama βρίσκεται σε πολύ καλή τοποθεσία στον προορισμό Τακαγιάμα και έχει κοινόχρηστο χώρο lounge και δωρεάν WiFi. The amenities were very good. The kitchen was nice and there are 4 more buildings that you can go to including a big kitchen a rooftop and traditional Japanese place.

The most beautiful and warm guesthouse I have ever stayed in. The common area was particularly great, the windows facing out to the mountains were amazing. No faults at all!!! Shirakawa-go is a small town with nothing much open at night so prepare for that by stocking up at the convenience store. It’s about a 10 min walk away from the guesthouse. There is a very small family-run convenience store that is closer but is cash only (try to go there if you can! The staff are lovely). The staff at the guesthouse were unreal! So helpful from as soon as we arrived. Make sure to book their bus terminal shuttle before you get there, don’t make our mistake and try to do the walk cause it isn’t fun! They were funny, kind and always willing to help with anything at all. This was my favourite place I stayed in through all of Japan and I couldn’t recommend it more. Thank you so much for having us! We’re forever grateful.

It is really a good place for the solo traveler. All the facilities are very good. you can prepare your own meal here. Drink like coffee and tea is free here but you have to prepare it yourself. especially the kitchen is equipped with everything. the bathrooms and toilet are clean. And most importantly anyone can move anywhere from the place where the guesthouse is located. the price range is good. And the staffs are well-behaved. The manager is a very warm and kind-hearted person. he can speak English. I am highly recommending this place for staying.

A perfect opportunity to get real local experience. This place is not made for tourists and if you prefer 5star hotels this place is not for you, but if you want to learn more about Japanese onsen culture it is perfect. You can use multiple baths and sauna as well as cold pool for 900 yen in the evening and in the morning before check out and enjoy nice food right after taking a good bath. Your company is gonna be some Japanese uncles and aunties, but they are great. It’s a simple place with a great soul!

Το Tomato Takayama Station έχει καταλύματα 2 αστέρων στον προορισμό Τακαγιάμα, 2,1 χλμ μακριά από Παραδοσιακό Χωριό Hida Minzoku Mura και σε απόσταση 48 χλμ από Gero Station. We were accomodated in different place than was advertised, so I cannot review anything. Price was high, but it could be because of the autumn festival that was happening that day.
