Home like atmosphere. bonus points for David's hospitality who prepared me some nutritious grechka for breakfast. I gave him two mandarinas in exchange. Yum

We stayed here and took a day trip to kinosaki onsen, facilities were open late even after we got back and it was warm, quiet and cozy. Beds were so comfortable and they had all the amenities you might need while traveling even for a hostel. Would be more than happy to stay here again!

There is a nice common area on the ground floor where you can eat and chat with other guests. The place is very clean. It is located in Samegai, which is a very small town, with no noise and very calm. Quite easy to reach Kyoto from here. Great place!
