Momiji hostel is gelegen in Minami Aso, op 31 km van Egao Kenko Stadium Kumamoto, en biedt accommodatie met een tuin, gratis privéparkeren en een gedeelde lounge. De enorme gastvrijheid van de gastheer en de gastvrouw. De hulp van de gastheer was fantastisch. Toen bleek dat wij onze logistiek niet goed op orde hadden, hielp hij een taxi te boeken voor 5.30u op zondagochtend, zette ontbijtkoeken klaar en kwam ons met zijn vrouw om 05.30u uitzwaaien op zondagochtend. Ook op vrijdagavond toen wij pas rond 20.35 u incheckten was hij bereid zijn restaurant langer open te houden en maakte zijn vrouw een diner voor ons. Top gastvrijheid!!!!

Tudzura ligt in Kumamoto, op 2,3 km van Hosokawa Residence Gyobutei, en biedt een bar, rookvrije kamers, en gratis WiFi in de hele accommodatie. The design is immaculate and the building itself is just magnificent. My time in Kumamoto was amazing and I would gladly come again!

The decor of the guesthouse is super cool. It was all done by the owner by hand! The sleeping area is small but practical and comes with all necessities, plug, light, fan. There is also a coffee and fridge etc for food The owners are really friendly and helped me out so much when I fell ill when staying at the guesthouse. They made me feel so welcome and they were so kind and hospitable There are also 2 bicycles you can use for free

The room is very spacious and the individual beds are spread out, with safe and capacious lockers. There are plenty of sinks and showers, so you don’t need to line up. The toilets and showers are spotlessly clean. Free toiletries are provided at no extra charge. The common area on the ground floor is also lovely.

Aso Base Backpackers ligt in Aso, op 33 km van Egao Kenko Stadium Kumamoto en 42 km van Kasteel Kumamoto. Amazing hostel!!! One of the best ones I’ve ever stayed in. Super well equipped kitchen (even spices etc for cooking), very good working desk in the lounge, clean, spacious, quiet. 10/10 😍

HIKE is gelegen in Tamana, op 20 km van warmwaterbron Hirayama, en biedt accommodatie met airconditioning en een gedeelde lounge. Staying at this rebuilt hospital was a highlight of our journey. The atmosphere, materials, and lighting is very beautiful. We got very warmly welcomed and it was a pleasure to enjoy breakfast, lunch or dinner at the main floor restaurant. We definitely recommend it to spend some calm relaxing days! They also provide bicycles to discover the beautiful nature around or drive to a nearby onsen place or to the sea.
