It was a bit cold at night, but there was an ac and warm blankets, so it's not a problem! There's an onsen just by the place, so you can relax after a long day of exploring

I recently stayed 10 days at SHIN and all I can say is I was blown away by the host’s (Shin) hospitality and attention to detail. From the moment I checked in, to the moment I checked out, along with local delivery of a forgotten item, Shin had taken care of everything. The room I stayed in (bunk room) was a good size for one or two lightly packed travellers. All shared spaces were well maintained and kept spotless. Getting around is very convenient, with a JR train station 3-5 mins away, and also the city bus stop right in front of the hotel. Only thing to note, is that the stairs are a bit steep, so something to consider for those that may have difficulty getting up or down.
