The location is spectacular, with Mt. Fuji as the breathtaking backdrop. Waking up to this view every morning from the common area is a dream. The facilities are clean and comfortable, and Michi's willingness to offer advice and help with any needs truly stands out. I extended my stay because I couldn't bear to leave. If you're looking for an unforgettable Mt. Fuji experience with a wonderful host, look no further than Michi's hostel. It's a hidden gem that I wholeheartedly recommend. We stayed at a beautiful traditional Japanese room with beds on the floor which were very comfortable to my surprise. The bathrooms/shower space was big and clean and the guy in the reception was kind and very helpful. There was also an option to take a bike (for free) which was great and allowed us to easily explore the area.

Excellent location - just steps away from the Shin-Fuji station! The accommodation is a charming traditional Japanese house, offering a comfortable sleep and a peaceful stay. The staff is incredibly kind and welcoming. I highly recommend this place for a convenient and authentic experience :)

Very close to Kawaguchiko station. Also the view of Mount Fuji 🗻 from literally every level was an added bonus. They have a terrace where you can chill while gazing at Fuji 🗻 san all you like.

So clean, warm to come back to after a Winter day around the lake and what a perfect perfect location for seeing Mt Fuji. It is directly opposite 1min walk away to cross the road and you are in Oishi Park. After walking around the lake and seeing the other hotel options I would say this was the best location!
